Lewis & Clark Wins Big at the World Beer Cup in Nashville

Lewis & Clark Brewing Co. Wins Two Medals at the 2023 World Beer Cup Prickly Pear Pale Ale and Miner’s Gold Hefeweizen Get Top Honors

Helena, MT (May 2023) — Lewis & Clark Brewing’s Prickly Pear Pale Ale was awarded another silver medal at the 2023 World Beer Cup competition, presented by the Brewers Association. Adding to its record-setting medals, Miner’s Gold Hefeweizen received a bronze medal in the “American Wheat Beer” category. The Lewis & Clark team is honored to add another medal to the list of accolades Miner’s Gold has received over the years solidifying its status as the Most Award-Winning Wheat Beer of the Century.

Lewis & Clark Brewing Co staff members Sean Tobin, Jayce Hancock, and Danya Bonner were in Nashville to receive the award on behalf of the brewery.

Held on May 10, 2023, this World Beer Cup marks the 27th competition. There were over 10,000 beer entries, 2,376 breweries, and 51 countries represented.

"We are honored to be recognized with two medals for our best-selling beers: Miner’s Gold Hefeweizen and Prickly Pear Pale Ale. These wins are a testament to the passion, pride, and attention to detail that our brewing and packaging team takes each and every day to produce consistently high-quality beers. I am so proud of our team. Our competition beers are taken right off the shelf; we send in the same 6-packs you see on the store shelf,” said Max Pigman, Owner at Lewis & Clark Brewing Company.

Soon you’ll also be seeing the recently rebranded Miner’s Gold cans at your local store. We are excited to bring you the same award-winning liquid in a crisp new design.

Cheers!

Seeing Lewis & Clark Brewing take home hardware at the "Olympics of Beer" in Nashville is a massive win, not just for the brewery but for the entire Montana craft scene. Speaking of "gold standards," I’ve been using this Gradient Background Tool for my design mockups lately, and it is easily the best I’ve come across.

Seeing Lewis & Clark Brewing take home those medals at the World Beer Cup in Nashville is fantastic—it really speaks to the level of craftsmanship and consistency you guys put into every batch. Of course, keeping up with that kind of industry news and staying "in the loop" on the latest award-winning releases takes a fair bit of focus. Lately, my absolute go-to for decompressing is playing a few rounds of fisheatfish.

Been trying out Nano Banana for AI image generation lately. You just describe what you want in plain text and it generates something — built on Gemini so the quality is decent. Handles a range of styles from realistic to anime. Useful for quick concept visuals without needing to set up anything locally.
